This is the 4th book in the oh-so-popular House of Night series by the mother and daugher writing team P.C & Kristin Cast. This book series is perfect for all the YA fantasy lovers out there, although it is not suitible for younger readers.

The story in this book starts just where Chosen (book 3 in the HON series) has ended, Zoey is left almost friendless after her friends find out about all the secrets she has kept from them and she had just lost all 3 of her boyfriends (yes, I just said 3). The only friends she has left now are, surprisingly, Aphrodite, her former enemy and her ex-roomie, the not so undead-dead-kid anymore, Stevie-Rae.
This book was a little hard for me to get into, since I’ve waited quite some time between finishing Chosen and starting this one. The story line for this series is really unique and fun and I really enjoy reading about Zoey’s life. The entire time I was rooting for Erik to forgive Zoey and for them to get back together! I absolutely loved them as a couple and it was really hard for me to see Zoey mess this all up in the previous book. I’m not going to give too much up, so if you want to know what happened, you’ll have to read this book for yourself!
Over all, this is a great read for teens (15+) that like love stories and fun fantasy stuff mixed all up together with great writing and a very flowing and fun story. I can’t wait to get the next book in the series (Hunted!) and find out what happens next- the way this book ended really made me want more!
So, final thoughts- would I recommend this series? Yes, definitely!
