First off, I would like to mention that I’ve downloaded this ebook a while ago, but never actually read it. You can say that this type of book isn’t exactly “my style”; I usually gravitate toward YA science fiction novels, I find. I have only downloaded this book after hearing about it on some YT video and, checking the Amazon website, discovering it was free.

Yesterday, when I was getting my bag ready for school, I decided not to cary the book I’m currently reading (Inheritance by Christopher Paolini), which has over 800 pages and weights a ton, and take my iPad instead. While I was browsing over the ebooks I have on the several reading apps I own and love, I stumbled across “Bridesmaid Lotto” and decided to give it a try.

The second I started reading this book, I fell in love. This book is so cute, super funny and the story is refreshingly original. For a self published ebook, it has very few grammar/spelling mistakes (about 3-4 in the entire book). The story is written in a really nice flowing way that made me hang on to every word. As soon as I started it, I just simply could not put it down! I read on the bus, on the train, in between classes, at the dinner table, instead of going to sleep and just could not leave it be until the book was done. It took me probably less than 24 hours to read (it’s a little short- less than 200 pages, but not short enough that you feel like it was a waste of time).

The moment I finished reading this book, I went onto and purchased the next book (Gamble on Engagement) and right away after that, logged onto my blog to type up this review!

This book is enchanting, romantic, funny, well written and very enjoyable! For someone like me, who doesn’t typically even like this genre of books, it was a pleasant surprise.
I recommend this book a million times, and even more! And for a free ebook- you really have nothing to lose!
