The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater ❥ Short Book Review

The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1)The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater

My rating: 4.5 of 5 stars

This book was really good! As always, Maggie’s writing was beautiful.

I loved the entire concept of the story. I liked how the author mixed the creepy mystical aspects of the book with the fun youth of the characters.

I really liked all the characters- which is seriously impossible, usually. Blue was a strong main character, she was opinionated, smart, funny and I really just liked following her becoming familiar with the boys and her own powers.
As for the Raven Boys- Adam was sweet and innocent and quite surprised me towards the end. Noah was quite, but interesting, all at the same time. Ronan was really mysterious the entire time and I cannot wait to read about him more in the sequel, The Dream Thieves. And Gansey, oh Gansey. I love him. So much. He is unique, strong, passionate, smart and just all around perfect. Blue and him need to end up together RIGHT NOW.

Overall, really interesting plot, great writing and a drool-worthy bunch of fellows, what else can you ask for?
